Here they are first thing this morning eating breakfast and watching none other than Sleeping Beauty. Can you guess who chose the movie???

Here they are with their egg shakers.
Walker with a drum stick.
Kathryn, the little teapot. See her handle and her spout!
Even little Caroline was in on all of the action!
Walker and Kathryn playing with scarves.
And next was the parachute!
The birthday girl. Happy Birthday, Ali Kate!
Eating birthday yummies...
Happy Birthday, Tula! We hope you have a blessed day!
And Happy Birthday to Gigi, too!
Here's Walker holding his new football from Uncle Brad.
And Kathryn loved playing "paper dolls" with Aunt Mak.
Putting together Lincoln Logs with Pops.
Opening all those presents worked up an appetite. Some peppermint ice cream rounded out the evening!
Walker ate yogurt and Cheerios each morning with Tula.
On New Year's Day, we went to Grandpa's house to wish him a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and a Happy Birthday! He was the first baby born on New Year's Day in Mobile in 1932! Pops had another Christmas surprise waiting for the kiddos when we arrived!
Next, it was off to Grandmother's house. Walker and Kathryn had fun helping her open her gifts.
Gigi and Uncle Bill gave me an extra special Chistmas present--a night of free babysitting! Mom, Dad, Brad, Makenzi and I enjoyed a yummy dinner at Ruth's Chris!
One of the highlights of our trip was getting to see some old and new friends! My friend Amanda and I haven't seen each other in three and a half years. Three little ones later, we were finally reunited and picked right up where we had left off as we've done so many times before!
Mommy and son...
I met Amanda the summer before we started first grade. We've been classmates, roommates, and the best of friends. It was such a joy to see her and Edward and to meet Cole!!
We were also able to meet some more "new" friends. Our friends Bridget and Kenan recently moved to Mobile, and since they've been in North Carolina and we've been in Tennessess, we've only seen them once in the five years since med school. It was so much fun to meet their children, Michael and Anna.
