Run Well Finish Strong

Have a mentioned how much I love Jean Stockdale and her ministry? I sat under Jean for three years while in Memphis and was challenged to go deeper in my walk with the Lord than I ever have in my life (and at a time in my life when I didn't have much time for anything other than taking care of babies!!).

That is why I am thrilled that Jean now offers her Bible study online, so you too can participate and be challenged in your walk with the Lord and in your role as a godly wife and mother. Will you join me as we study 11 Timothy? I completed this study several years ago, and I can promise you will not be disappointed!

Here is the blog where the Bible study will take place!

And you can order your workbook here!

You also have the privilege of listening to Jean each week here!

The first week's study begins on Wednesday, February 3rd, but it's never to late to join in!

I want to run well and finish strong. Don't you? You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll be challenged, you'll be encouraged. So don't be left out! Join us in this wonderful study!

Have You Heard of Froggy?

Kathryn and Walker have, and they love him! These books are by Jonathan London, and you are sure to find a title that your little one will love. There's Froggy Plays in the Band for your little musician, Froggy Bakes a Cake for your little chef, and Froggy Plays Soccer for your little athelete. See what I mean! There's a froggy for everybody!

These are few of my two's favorites...

Shhh....don't tell, but I just ordered this one for Valentine's Day!

Check out Froggy at your local library. Your little ones will love him!

Never Say Never

So, how did we go from this.... to this in only a matter of minutes???

I briefly left Kathryn alone with her scissors and workbook the other day while I quickly tended to Walker. She was still in eye sight, but some how I missed her cutting half her hair off! I honestly thought my child would "never" do such a thing. Think again!

Fortunately for Little Miss, she left one large section of curly locks in the front that mask the large portion of hair she cut away. Now, when I pull her hair back in a bow, it's almost like she has bangs. Maybe she knew what she was doing:)

What a Difference A Couple of Days Make!

Forgive me for not posting in a while. We've had family in town, and our internet has been sporadic at best!

Last weekend, Aunt Amy and the girls were back in Birmingham before returning home to Maryland. So, one last get together was in order. Pizza party anyone? We ate, the kids played, we ate some more, the kids watched a movie!

Here, we were trying for a sibling picture with Papa, but of course, Kathryn (who under normal circumstances never wants to have her picture taken) had to get in the picture!

And here's a shot of the cousins, minus Devon who was busy playing, all settled on the couch for a movie. What we didn't know when we took this picture is that only two short days later we would add another cousin to the bunch!

Brand new cousin Beau Crawford was born on Monday evening, about a month early! He and Mommy are doing well, and we can't wait to add him to the next cousin picture!

Accumulation

At the end of last week, there was a lot of "snow" hype. My kiddos' school was even cancelled on Thursday because of the impending snow. Of course, the snow came, but not with all of the glory my kids expected. There was no making snow angels or building snowmen. I tried to explain that the snow had to "accumulate" in order for any of those fun snow activities to take place!

Well, imagine their suprise on Friday morning, when they woke up to this....that's right accumulation Alabama style! It lasted until about 11 a.m. when the sun came out and melted it all away:)

We did manage to make some snowmen...be sure to check them out below!

Beating the Winter Blahs

I have to admit, once Christmas is over, I'm not too fond of winter! Once January hits, I'm on the search for anything to remind me of the upcoming spring. So, here are a few of my favorite things...
First on my list is Lollia Wish. I love this perfume! Looking at the key ingredients, they sound more winter than spring, but something about the smell reminds me of the beach! And I can't get enough of it!

Secondly, anything that smells of coconut also does the trick! I don't have any tested, tried and true products, but here are a few suggestions:

Finally, a little color in my wardrobe also helps! These are a few of my favorites...
Winding Road Tank, perfect for under a sweater

And as always, if you can't beat them, join them by bundling up and cozying up with these fun items...

How do you chase away the winter blahs???

Cousin It?

No it's not Cousin It. It's Walker playing his Leap Frog Leapster underneath a blanket using his Lightning McQueen flashlight! Ever since he got his flashlight from Aunt Mak and Uncle Brad, he's been obsessed with finding a dark spot in the house. This was the best he could do this afternoon!
