Merry Christmas Eve

It's hard to believe Christmas Eve is already here! We've had a fun filled Christmas season kicked off by our trip to Disney World. Disney posts will come after the New Year, but I wanted to capture some of the highlights of the last few weeks now!

We hosted a Polar Express style party with our friends.  The girls in their pajamas!

Simple Snowmen S'mores were passed out at school followed by some Grinchy snacks for the twins' class parties.

Another Polar Express style party at school had Miss Kathryn donning her Santa nightgown!

Little sister joined in on the fun in her nightgown too!  Here we are in Walker's class.

A little cookie decorating and ornament making with neighborhood friends!

No bake Santa and reindeer cookies...a family favorite!

And finally a picture with the jolly old elf himself!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Matching Littles

I couldn't help but take a few pictures after church on Sunday.  My three littles were all coordinated in their Sunday clothes, and that doesn't always happen!

I can't say they (or the weather for that matter) were truly cooperating, but I love the various expressions on their faces nonetheless.

See what I mean!

To the 'Ham and Back

Last weekend, Kathryn and I had the privilege of traveling to Birmingham with Tula and Pops! We hit the road so we could witness sweet cousin Bradley's baby dedication.

Timing was just right to also celebrate Mom and Dad's 39th wedding anniversary with a yummy dinner at Hot & Hot without the little ones (thanks Aunt Mak for sharing your sitter!)

Bradley's dedication and the entire church service was such a special time. Plus it was followed by a delicious lunch provided by Aunt Mak! A perfect Sunday if you ask me!

The trip was quick but the memories will last a lifetime!

Some pictures for your enjoyment...

A Kindergarten Feast

Last Friday, my little kindergarteners celebrated Thanksgiving a little early with a Thanksgiving Feast at school. Each of the four classes decorated a table, and all of the kids brought in their favorite fall foods!

My first little Indian was very serious as she sang her songs!

And this little Indian always has a smile!

Sweet friends....

Trick or Treat

You would think I would have tons of photos given the many fall festivities we've had going on around here:) These first few were from our neighborhood party...
.

These are from Trick or Treat night! Here are the neighborhood boys!

And the neighborhood girls...

And Sleeping Beauty!  Who had been dressed as Ariel for the better part of the day.  She decided last minute to make a wardrobe change.  I guess princesses do have a right to do that, don't they!

Fall Festival and Homecoming

As if all of the trick or treat festivities of last week weren't enough, this past Friday was also Fall Festival at Walker and Kathryn's school! There were games, inflatables, face painting, yummy food galore, and even some plein air painting for all the aspiring artists!

After all of the fall festival fun, we loaded up the car and headed to Nana and Papa's house for the weekend. Bright and early the next morning, we loaded up the car again and traveled to the loveliest village on the plains for homecoming. We haven't been to Auburn in three years, so we were definitely due for a visit.  Don't think we will be buying season tickets any time soon though.  Miss Frances lasted about 20 minutes inside the stadium. Just long enough to see the eagle fly, the band play, the players run out! This crew may wait another three years before attempting another game:)

Somebody was worn out! It's hard work routing for the Tigers (especially this year:) The Busbee's must have been just what the team needed, because in case you missed it, we finally won!!!

One Bite

Of an apple was all it took for Walker to lose his FIRST tooth! This will probably be the easiest tooth he will lose! Im so proud of my big boy!

Reunited

My two little chefs reunited in the kitchen this weekend for a little Pinterest baking.  Reminded me of lazier days when they were younger and baking was a weekly affair.

Remember these two?!?

And NOW! Oh my!!!

Want to know what they were baking?  Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies (aka Muddy Buddy Cookies!).  Craving something sweet too?  Check out our Desserts and Sweets board on Pinterest!

A Fine Feathered Friend

Tula and Pops have a new pet...meet Mr. Duck!

He likes to eat cat food and leave lots of messes (if you know what I mean), but we are all a bit smitten, especially Miss Frances. Although Kathryn captured the last two pictures and was all giggles as she did!
