Then it was off to Krispy Kreme for some doughnuts!
After Krispy Kreme, we headed to Target for some grocery shopping and to pick out some birthday cakes. Oh, and we had to get an icee too. That was on our list of things to do for their birthday! We also picked up some dino shaped nuggets for their birthday lunch. I thought a candle and a round of happy birthday couldn't hurt! I'd already sung to them at Krispy Kreme, per their request. Let's just say between my singing and them telling EVERYBODY it was their birthday, the entire place was well informed that it was their special day!

Lunch was followed by a quick round of naps. I told them they didn't have to take one, but Kathryn fell asleep during the movie we'd settled down to watch, so I snuggled up in bed with Walker for a nap! After naps, it was off to the pool for a birthday swim!

And here's Kathryn's Hello Kitty cake...

Since, we were just celebrating with the four of us, we didn't need a ton of cake. So, I bought these small cakes at Target for about $6 each and decorated them with a Diego candle from Party City and a marshmallow Hello Kitty from Walgreens! The kids didn't seem to mind and I thought the Target cakes matched the toppers quite nicely. Add some character plates and napkins, and the kiddos loved it!

The kids really enjoyed themselves. I have to admit the best part of the visit for Mommy was heading to

We aren't having a "real" party this year, just a fun family get together with all the cousins on the Busbee side. Aunt Amy came across these cupcakes, and we thought the Toy Story theme would work great for the boys and the girls! Plus, in case you haven't noticed, Toy Story is EVERYWHERE. So I figured I might as well let the plethora of Toy Story goodies work to my advantage!

2) The master closet!!! I don't know what I'm going to fill it with, but I'm sure I'll have fun finding things!
3) Mommy's new office...this is a random room located between the dining room and the garage, but I think it will be the perfect place for some "me" time!
4) The master shower!
6) The laundry room...it's located right off the master bathroom which I am very excited about. Love having the counter space too. We've never had that in a laundry room before!

The best part is the price! Many of these start at less than a $1 each! Make your own cupcakes and add these cute toppings and you've saved yourself a lot of dough:) And you have a designer look to show for it!
