These are a few of my favorite "Alabama" things.

Now, that we are back in the Heart of Dixie, I can't wait to enjoy some of my favorite 'Bama products. Here are my top three...

Wickles

Wickles are yummy spicy pickles. If you love hot, you will LOVE Wickles!!

Naturally More

Cori introduced me to Naturally More, and I LOVE it. Bye bye natural peanut butter. This is my new favorite!

Big Sky Bread Company

And if anyone knows me, they know I live for Big Sky's granola and chocolate chip cookies. These cookies were like medicine to me when I was in college. If I had a bad day or got a little homesick (or really any excuse I could come up with), a Big Sky cookie always seemed to make everything better!

Check on the websites to see if you too can enjoy some of these local favorites in your hometown!

SO GLAD you are back in Alabama! Now, if I can just get down there so we can all do dinner sometime! I'm not too far, so no excuses for NeNe, right? And can I just say, the flip that Kathryn is doing at the top of the blog cracks me up everytime I log on here...

Lauren,

I opened my mailbox today to find your dear sweet note. And what perfect timing. My anxiety levels were so high today as I met with Abby's doctor and teachers to prepare for her FIRST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN TOMORROW! I know you know my mama's heart and how hard it is to turn her care over to someone new. But we had two very good meetings, and I know the Lord is going to watch over her. We're excited about the morning...and I just wanted you to know that God gave me your sweet note today just when I needed it. I actually read it before I headed to the teacher meeting...perfect timing. We miss you so much. I know you are so excited to be back with friends and family. Pray for us in the morning cause you know this mom will be crying her eyes out (hopefully after I get in the car so as not to embarass my big girl!).

Keep on posting all your recipes and clever mommy ideas...I'll need to "borrow" many this year for class parties, I'm certain!
