PJ to PJ Day

Tuesday we had the luxury of staying home and doing.absolutely.nothing. It was wonderful. Normally, I might dread these kind of days, but not this one. Maybe it was this blog post that made me appreciate being able to stay in our pj's all day. Or maybe it was the fact that we went to kindergarten orientation today. That's right folks. Kindergarten!


Whatever the reason, I am trying to soak up every messy, wild and crazy minute with these three little ones the Lord has blessed me with. It's not always easy, but it's ALWAYS worth it!


So, what did we do with this lazy day....baked, of course!


Thanks to my friend, Elizabeth, we made Chocolate Mug Cake. As she notes, they aren't the most moist cakes in the world, but the joy it brought my two to make their "own" cakes was worth the not so perfect cake! Can you tell they liked it??? We were wiping chocolate off our face for the remainder of the day!


And I made these little tuxedoed cuties for my olive-loving child! All you need are some olives, cream cheese, carrots and tooth picks.
