Spring Break '11

Walker and Kathryn were out of school this week for Spring Break. Kathryn had fun at Art Camp with her friends Katie-Ruth and Michael while Walker, Frances and I kept busy with some other fun activities. Here are a few pictures from our week!

Monday: Horseback Riding

Walker was quite the little equestrian! If you are in the area and would like to do the same, check out Silver Lining Horse Farm. Mimi is fabulous and not only teaches them how to ride but teaches them about the horses and how to care for them.


This is unfortunately what Frances did most of the week. Thankfully, I don't think she minds!

Tuesday: Walker's first visit to the dentist

I know not the most fun thing to do on Spring Break, but after 4 1/2 years it was time! Surprisingly, he did great, and his teeth looked great too!

Wednesday: Breakfast at Chick Fil A and the Exploreum

Walker has been asking to see the "Big Bugs" (the current exhibit at the Exploreum, hence what he calls the Exploreum) for a while now, so we finally made it there. Of course, the Spring Breakers were there en masse, but we still had fun!

Thursday: BSF and lunch at Zoe's

Friday: Breakfast at Dick Russell's and visiting with Cousin Addi, Uncle Brad and Aunt Mak

And Miss Kathryn didn't miss a beat! She painted, she made pottery and paper-mache. They even ended their week of Art Camp with an Easter parade. Don't you just love her bonnet?
