Guess where Matt took me for my birthday? Paris, you might think? Well, as close to Paris as I'm going to get anytime soon. Why go to Paris when you can go to Las Vegas!!!Matt had a conference out there (no, this was not our destination of choice!), so we decided to make a mini vacation out of it! We stayed at the Bellagio pictured below.
The room was very nice, and although we didn't have a view of the famous Bellagio fountains, we had an even better view of the mountains! Not something we see often in our part of the South:)
And just a little shopping! I must say I was quite impressed with all of the shopping in Vegas. Not that I could have afforded all of the labels represented there, but it was certainly nice to window shop!!
And thanks to the heads up from Aunt Mak, who had visited Vegas just weeks before we did, I was able to enjoy these lovely goodies everyday! These pictures are for you Aunt Mak!!
The sinfully delicious dark and white chocolate dessert to your right was my birthday dessert! Jean Philippe Patisserie, located in the Bellagio, offered these fabulous treats along with gelatos, coffee, and the most fabulous baked goods. Needless to say, I was standing at this counter at least twice every day:)
