We've been really gearing up for potty training with Walker. So last week, Matt started reading an Elmo potty book each night to get the potty conversation started with our little man.
Walker acknowledged that Mommy, Daddy, Sissy, Elmo and Elmo's doll, David, all use the potty. So, why doesn't Walker use the potty? Well, when Matt asked him, Walker replied, "I'm too busy!"
We, of course, just laughed at first, but then reality set in that more than likely that is the reason he hasn't taken to the potty. The good news is, he's not too busy anymore! Praise the Lord, we have been diaper free since Friday. That doesn't mean we haven't had a few accidents, but he is well on his way to potty success!

Just be sure Walker does not watch any clips from Billy Madison. He may be a little thrown off when Billy tells his classmates, "you aint cool, unless you pee your pants".
