I have to admit, Frances is quite smitten with her sister. I guess it's just a given for girls to be drawn to girls. So I can't help but melt a little bit when I see her and her brother bonding. She likes to call him Bubba (she calls herself Baby and Kathryn remains Sissy), and he's especially sweet with her. I took these pictures while at Dauphin Island last weekend...
We hit the D.I. for their local Mardi Gras parade. Here's Kathryn waving for some beads and moon pies!
In other news this week, Wal Mart was sporting some super cute party supplies. I love the polka dots. Unfortunately, I don't really have any parties on the horizon, but I couldn't resist a pack of plates and napkins especially at $1.97 a pop! The red and white would be cute for Valentine's Day for all you room mommas out there!
As for this weekend, we will hopefully succeed in our efforts to recreate something along these lines for the school's Mardi Gras parade. The four year olds choose a letter and decorate a "wearable" float accordingly. Walker has the letter "O", so we are aiming for an "Outer Space" theme! Wish us luck!!
