To begin, here's Frances snuggled up with her Minnie pillow pet (a gift from Nana and Papa) wearing her Minnie jacket (a Target purchase that I hoped would put a stop to wearing her Minnie pj's in public, which she's been known to do!).
Kathryn's class Valentine's party...Walker of course had one too, it's just I signed up to help with Kathryn's class (one of the dilemmas of having the twins in separate classrooms). Icing and decorating cookies were on the party agenda. Kathryn's turned out quite nice (and yummy too! She's not a sweets girl, so she graciously shared her cookie with me!).
Of course, Wednesday was the big parade! Enough said about that craziness! On Thursday, Scotcheroos...yummy, yummy and yummy! I made these for my Bible study girls who came to my house for a fellowship. Recipe to follow!

On Friday, we headed to Birmingham to celebrate Addison's second birthday. Aunt Mak didn't disappoint in her party planning. Everything was perfect from the food to the flowers to the fun Olivia inspired decorations! I don't know what it says about me that I took pictures of the food table and not of the birthday girl! I can guarantee you she looked even more sweet!
We also had time to play with cousins Daniel and Beau. Again, no pictures. I blame it on this little lady below...
She is quite active this days and doesn't leave her mommy any free hands for taking pictures:) Here she's taking her friend Miles on a ride! We finished the weekend at Valerie's house, letting the kiddos play while we visited. I also finally got to love on my friend Carrie's sweet twin girls for the first time!
Needless to say, we came home exhausted but quite content with all of the family and friends we were able to enjoy on our visit! All I can say is thank goodness the kids have been out of school this week. We've all needed this time to recover!!
Scotcheroos
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup karo syrup
1 cup sugar
6 cups rice krispies
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
Melt peanut butter, sugar and karo syrup over low/med heat until sugar is dissolved. Add in rice krispies stirring to coat. Pour mixture into a greased 9 x 13 dish.
In separate microwaveable bowl, melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in microwave. Pour chocolate mixture on top of rice krispies mixture. Place in refrigerator until chocolate hardens. Cut into squares and enjoy!
